Kaboom!
If This looks like a big, big volcanic crater (note the scale!)... well, it is. And apropos enough, it's right next to Los Alamos, "The Birthplace of the Atomic Age"! And it's right up there in the Jemez mountains and the tribal pueblos therein. (Sorry, neither the pueblos nor the lab allowed photos... you'll just have to settle for shots of the big valley made by the boom, and from our hikes.)
And we stopped in at the little village of Chimayo to pick up something for my mom... and to pay our respects: Last time Krystal was there, she was just going through her chelation and needed any and all available healing..
